Hi Chris,
After some more tinkering around I managed to fix the issue.
It seems the culprit was an old installation of gdal from sources.
I am not certain how this was making crssync crash, but after
recompiling and reinstalling gdal the qgis installation completed
without errors.
Thank you for

What happens if you do an apt update and apt upgrade on the command line? Any
errors?
Both commands run without error.

Hi,
This is my first email on the qgis-user mailing list, I hope this is the
correct place to send my questions.
I have recently upgraded Ubuntu twice (first 18.04 -> 20.04, then 20.4
-> 22.04).
I am now trying to install QGIS 3.34.3 in Ubuntu 22.4 LTS (Jammy), but I
seem to have many issues
That didn't work. I am on Win7

Hi,
What operating system are you using?
Did you import QGIS 2.x settings?
My guess is some faulty/non-working plugin from 2.x is causing that. Or
some imported project default settings.
Try cleaning your settings. Open QGIS using your colleague's project, go to

An update, and this is really really weird.
So a colleague of mine save a QGIS3 project on our work network. If I
double click on it, then I manage to open QGIS 3.4. I copied it on my PC
and I managed again to open the project in QGIS3 by double clicking. Then

happened.

I cannot get QGIS 3.4 LTR to work on my PC. I have QGIS 2.18 installed and
it works fine. But after I installed 3.4 and started the program, it
crashes on the splash screen, just after *Starting Python *shows up.
Help me please!

repos I couldn't find corresponding packages, at least I found qgis in the
Leap42 repo, but there is no excplicit qgis-server package. Is it inlcuded
in the qgis-package?
Thanks, Michael

Dear All
I have just tried to instal QGIS 2.12.3 instead of my previous version 2.12.
However there seens to be some Trojan software (Trojen.Gen) in the
installation. It was found by Symantec virus scan
Can anyone look into to this ?
