Hello all,
How can I export vector data to OSGEO's mapserver? Is there any way to put an
OpenStreetMap as a basemap? I use QGIS 2.2.
Any help are welcome!
Thanks,

Olá Antonio,
those layers (from OL plugin) are not WMS so they cannot be added to
your mapfile anyway.

Hi all,
I have a problem with the Mapserver Export plugin.
If I try to export the layer information from any layer loaded with
the OpenLayers plugin (bing, google, ...) I get the error "list index
out of range".
Any help will be greatly apreciated.
Thanks,
António

Dear QGIS'lers,
in the moment sitting on an internal code sprint on Mallorca, nice

I tried the mapserver export plugin (and much more...).
The mapfile looks pretty good, there are some issues - e.g. compability

Check the bbox and/or the projection definition ;)

Ok, I understand my mistake between qgis-mapserv and mapserv, but I
can't have a map rendered with both...
So, I have saved a qgis project file containing only one postgis layer
under a directory "world" under /usr/lib/cgi-bin, and copied inside
the qgis_mapserv.fcgi and wms_metadata.xml files. Cal

Hi Jean Roc,
sorry I'm talking about qgis_mapserver. I have already followed the
two links you give but they speak about dev version of qgis. Trying to
mix these docs with the 1.6 stable version, I get a blank image with

Hello,
I have a Mapserver configured for WMS.
If in the .map file there are some PostGIS layer,
you need to copy the EXTENT key on the mapfile definition on each PostGIS
LAYER definition in the mapfile.
QGIS seems that is not able to detect the extend of a WMS layer of a
PostGIS spatial table.
I'm not sure...so I don't think so.

Hi All,
Again, I haven't gotten a satisfactory answer to why I don't have the option
to add the mapserver plugin. I have updated python, I've installed
python-qgis, but when I sudo apt-get install python-qgis-common, it tells me
that the package hasn't been found. Any suggestions?
Hi Edmondo,
some python plugins are at this moment not very stable, but will be
after the upcoming release of 1.0 :-)
Another option is an app that Gary Sherman mentioned 2 months ago:

Sorry for the mis-understanding. On 0.9.2 the mapserver export plugin
