To add some follow-up, I thought there might be an issue with
PostGIS, but I verified that all is well on that end of things. In
the past, I had some crash-related issues when the postgres server
was not running, but this is not the case today.

Doesnt adding this to src/gui/CMakeLists.txt fix the issue?
