bloke who thinks he can program assembler. Now obviously you don't want to

If you have SMSQ/E then it can read DOS format floppy disks without
problems. If you have any problems with that you can get a copy of
DiscOVER from my web page that can read these floppies under any QL variant
operating system. There is also a utility (cannot remember the name
off-hand)
I have altered q40_hwinit_asm to cut out reference to the Q40's non-
existent PCR register. The resultant rom works with the Q40. However,
the fault introduced in version 3.10 is still there and I have to
issue RESET when the software fails to recognise the hard disk. I
