I have reproduced the problem with Q-emulator. I get not enough memory
when I try to attach a 1 GB QXL.win file. I set the QL to as much memory
as I can and I still get the error. With an 800 MB QXL.win file, it
attaches just fine.
I'm thinking that 1 GB is hitting some boundary, meaning
That's my whole point these things ain't available round here. So many
people we know are on up to 8mb/s ADSLs and hardly anyone gets more than a
quarter of that at best. Our county seems to be totally deprived when it
comes to broadband. And it's not even as if we were out in the countryside!

when running apt* the application checks /etc/apt/sources.list
this file contains software repositories from which apt will pull down
packages. off the shelf the configuration only points to repositories
containing software which complies to the various debian licenses.

Just had a Hub 3 from BT after complaining for months about an
intermittent drop out, so far the new hub seems to have cured it but top
speed is around 2.8 , this is fast enough for most of my needs although
the Iplayer needs to be cranked down to normal definition at
