Hi,
I was curious why this was the case, so I had a look at the source
code. The loader opens the configuration file and tries to get the
file path from the open handle. Unfortunately this was never something
QDOS properly supported, getting the name of an open handle...

Wait a minute!
When I tried SMSQmulator I created a QXL.win under QPC and linked that
to SMSQ/M.
But the file on de hard drive is then not necessarily called "QXL.WIN".
Also the label name for the winN_ in QPAC2 is not always winN_ in my case.
So does this renaming in any way affect easy

No objection, but please keep the various xxx_USE keywords so that names can
still be changed, e.g. I like to call the NFA device DOS just because that's
like QPC!

OK, I've found why prowess didn't boot correctly in SMSQmulator.
And I have a question for those using SMSQmulator.
