Thank you Norman, Robert, Jerome and Marcel for your help with this. Not a small part of my problem [with TRA] may be because I have no full documentation for the command. As I said - I turned up Jan Bredenbeek's program "TRA1_bas" (QUANTA October 1986 p9ff and QUANTA [Old] QLibrary Disk 12).
