multilog problem--quite urgent please

Yesterday, a guy from the data center has upgraded a memory on my server, and this morning I discovered a cpu load problem. What I'd figured out is that multilog just can't access /var/log/qmail/* so the supervise has been retrying on and on I checked the ownership of /var/log/qmail as follo

Urgh... an old lesson I should have learned... Don't try to solve problems when sleepy. Sorry. Using defaultdomain instead of defaulthost will solve the local delivery problem, but will mess up with the "masquerading" of outgoing mails. I can't think of anything that'll get both things function

When you move /usr/sbin/sendmail to *.bak, you are taking the actual original "sendmail" program out of action. But you may have many other perl/... scripts as well as shell users that have the sendmail command embedded in them. So the best way to accommodate them in your move to a qmail system is
