Hi
I have those mrtg scripts which visualize qmail status
A few weeks ago remote concurrency became 1 and that is its minimum value
ever since, I wonder why. Before that it was always 0, unless sth.
happenend...
Any idea?
J.M. Roth
email address the subject and the size + date.
We currently have POP before SMTP and all that stuff but I still would like
where/how I can collect that information since the qmail-stmpd log doesn't
seem to reveal all that.

Hi!
First, is this correct, I mean should it be
SUID?

program.
man sendmail on my system reveals the real sendmail

Hello.
I finally found the solution to the "bad_last_line"
problem.
I have a script in .qmail-default that checks for
certain incoming domain names:
| if [ "$HOST" = "intelip.com" ]; then
/home/vpopmail/bin/vdelivermail '' bounce -no-mailbox; else
/home/vpopmail/bin/vdelivermail ''
/h
example) with an editor (vi), it tells
me "incomplete last line"
Now,
1) if i edit that file to make the line valid an then ALRM qmail-send... the
mail goes to nirvana (gone!)
--> 2) why did it start not putting anymore valid last lines here... <--
Any clue??

t seem to
be accepted by ezmlm? If I put other users at other domains in the mailing
list (even if local) it seems to work.
Any idea?

didn't exist, which simply is not true.
Any idea?

Hi!
What do I need to put in the .qmail-default file if I want to
deliver to a mailing list ?
simply the directory of the mailing list username doesn't seem
to work (probably because there's no Mailbox directory in there)
Any idea?

try $HOSTNAME instead of $HOST
the command SET gives you a list of the environment

The new versions of vpopmail support APOP
verification on an individual user basis.

Ok, sorry I meant virtualdomains.
As I said I would like a backup in case example.com AND the queue for it
fail.
This I've done with the MX records.
One disadvantage is, since the domain must be in rcpthosts on the 3rd
machine to receive anything, *if* mail is sent using this machine as
outgoing
: Any idea? Is smtproutes the right thing to do?
Best regards!

Hi there,
getting back to an earlier discussion,
I still haven't found out how to log the username (and perhaps the
passwords) that have been tried on successful AND mostly on UNsuccessful
logins.
Tried --enable-logging=y, tried several wrappers (see below).
I'm using vpopmail3.4.11 as the POP p
with logging the username though ($USER doesn't
seem to work).
Anyway, at least connections to the pop3 server are logged.
Any idea for the username logging???
Regards!
