Hi,
presently I am fighting to setup pop3 access to the qmail server. I have
attempted to use both the commands/configurations from the FAQ (using
tcpserver) and from the Living With Qmail doco (using inetd) and I receive
the same error using both.

Hi all,
The other day we came across an interesting scenario with our Qmail Server
(1.03).
The Server has been running smoothly for a month now. It operates purely as
a mail gateway and forwarder to a couple of domains, with no local mail or
POP3 mail. I am using TCPserver with the SMTP daemon.
qmail server, as a quick solution, and
qmail is happily distributing the email once again.
Does anyone have an insight into what may be going on??
Many thanks again.

thought that if the domain name could not be resolved, then
obviously the mail could not be delivered.
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Does anyone now if I have made a fundamental error in my configuration which
would result in this and a possible solution.
Thanks again.

the qmail
server)??
Can this be achieved through a combination of the smtp-routes and virtual
domain settings on the qmail server? If so could it please be outlined as we
are looking at possibly using qmail for this.
Many thanks

seeing it.
Having just searched the list I also find that a number of people have also
requested what I am about to mention - a central source of useful
qmalianalog commands. This I think would be very handy.
Many Thanks
