Is there a add on for qmail to enable email to SMS.

Email to SMS requires a calling card in your PC which is connected to a
mobile telephony device with data capabilities. OR, there are several online
sites that provide this service. Here in Australia, we have
www.blueskyfrog.com and www.mobilealert.com.au . You may have some luck
finding similar

Not that I know of, but it should probably be very easy to do.
The problem is finding a reliable and free SMS gateway.

I did a mail2sms gateway on linux using isdn4linux and yaps just with a
small perl-script, not much work. If you are interested in this solution,
mail me.

Nothing specifically for qmail (that I know of), but for general Unix,
it shouldn't be too hard to cobble up a script or two using sms_client:
