Due to my problems with I/O in preprocced of high rated mail injection,
what is the recomended hardware for an high end server with a lot of
mail traffic... for example 10 or 20 ma

Don`t put all your eggs in one basket.
Mail servers consume a vast of I/O process.
I recommend that put your qmail queue in a separate system storage
using another SCSI card or a IDE disks (in SW RAID 1).
Kernel 2.6 has some performace problems with some SCSI/RAID cards,
verify if your HW is 100% c

I have tested ext3 and reiserfs, both of them give good performance.
