Hi.
I've set RT up once before using /etc/aliases.
I imagine this is one of the things qmail makes easy, but I dont know how to
do it.
To get it to work using /etc/aliases, I put the following in that file:
rt-general: |/opt/rt3/bin/rt-mailgate \
--queue General \
--action correspond
Create a file in /home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com/.qmail-rt-general
containing
| /opt/rt3/bin/rt-mailgate --queue General --action correspond --url
http://rt.mydomain.com/; without the quotes.
I have a similar setup using the free cerberus helpdesk, and it works peachy.
Erik
On 9/17/06,
I figured it out just add the user and insert the alias in to the
database:
insert into valias values
('rt-general','mydomain.com','|/opt/rt3/bin/rt-mailgate --queue
General --action correspond --url http://rt.mydomain.com/');
Wow this is cool.

Guys.
There has been a syntax error in the perl install
files for aeons! I remember them from redhat and they are still in the centos
files.
'HiRez' should be 'HiRes'
Would save some hassle if someone could get round
to fixing it.
Thanks:)
Hi, Im running QmailToaster, and due to an errant script run by another employee, the mail queue exploded to 500,000 emails. My questions are - is the a tool that will allow me to remove emails from the queue while it is running? And also, why would this explosion of emails slowed the queue to a
