[qmailtoaster] IMAP Issues

We have a CentOS 4.2 build running QMAIL Toaster 1.2 with approximately 40 concurrent users and a total of around 100. Dual 3GHz Xeons, 1GB of RAM, RAID5 with 3 147GB Ultra-320 drives. It's a beefy box. We are having intermittent issues with plaintext imapd responding slowly.
