[qmailtoaster] Weird problem on pop3 connection

Hi everyone, I have been having a weird problem connecting pop 3 to my corporate server from Outlook and Thunderbird for about two weeks. When the client tries to connect to the server, I got this error message "-ERR [AUTH] Unsupported authentication method" and in the Dovecot logs I found errors

In my /etc/dovecot/toaster.conf I Have: auth_mechanisms = plain login digest-md5 cram-md5 while the /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-ssl.conf is the same as yours with : ssl = required I've found this on the dovecot mailing list : https://dovecot.org/pipermail/dovecot/2020-August/119760.html Regards Fab

The dovecot version we (qt) compile has the vpopmail driver in it, the dovecot repos don't have that driver compiled in. If you use the many domain version of qmail toaster that it would be okay, but using the stock version then, no, you would run into trouble using the dovecot repo versions.
