Just a quick note... for NTP, there are 4 pools of PUBLIC ntp servers
(that is, the DNS name will resolve to a dozen or more addresses) for
the US alone.
Set your NTP servers to include any or all of the following:
0.us.pool.ntp.org
1.us.pool.ntp.org
2.us.pool.ntp.org
3.us.pool.ntp.or
