I've been looking at QtJambi myself because I wanted to implement certain
missing functions. However the entire monolithic nature of the project makes
it cumbersome to test even the smallest changes.

As far as I know the jambi devs don't have the source code. It wasn't
publicly released after Jambi was given to the community. Although I do
remember a dev saying he found some svn traces from it but in the end it's
still closed source so the chances of it getting released are very slim
