Hi River,   There are several kinds of over-the-counter (OTC) cough medicines, but since you don't have a cough, I would suggest an OTC cough syrup with an EXPECTORANT only!  I use Robitussin with EXPECTORANT!  The expectorant will help keep your lungs and air passages clear.  Get feeling better
