Telephone chains are nothing new. They have been around for decades. A very
handy way to find out and keep and eye on loved ones. Then cell phones were
created and long distance calls were free, for the most part. Then once
again, people became too busy.

valuable than most gifts one receives. A smile, and yes even a phone call can
do wonders for someone's self-worth. To be appreciated, to be missed means a

I think that phone chain idea is great. A friend of the family has been
sitting for months waiting for a hip replacement. She called me the other

Hi Pete,
I think you'll find this List to be both friendly and knowledgeable about SCI
related issues. Maybe you could share a little about yourself. I'm 53 and
just finishing getting ready for Christmas. I have 4 Grandchildren that I love
seeing if I can keep up with this time of year.
Ok Silas I'll have them duct taped and crossed tonight!
Merry Xmas

A general act of kindness, once a month, once a week, once a day. Think of
the effect on your fellow mankind. Random acts of kindness, can be so
rewarding. Can you imagine holding a door open for a TAB, and smiling?
Perhaps, a
peer counselor. There are always a need. Stuck at home?
Yes, I hope to finish at least one rewrite of my autobiography/memior I'm
writing.

Good luck on healing your sores. I'm in the same boat since July with a couple
setbacks along the way. I am putting on a healing cream and it seems to help
but keep in pressure off is essential. Are your sores on your ishial
tuberosities? That's when mine is. I am going to try a new cushion

I'm trying to make some good New Year's Resolutions for 2007 and I was
wondering what everyone else is planning to do? We all know the standard
resolutions such as eating healthy and exercising more but I wanted to
see if there were any creative ideas out there. What's new for you in
2007?
