Does anyone know of a certain quick disconnect available for quads. I want
to
find something to hook a dog leash onto and unhook easily.

I use it and like the Walky Dog leash. It is very easy for my attendants to
put on and off, and you should be able to do it by yourself. Here's the

I am not sure of the date, but I remember the incident. I had a friend at the
time who was a quad, and we discussed the frustration of being so helpless.
And you told us all that stuff just because we’re your buddies. J

Glenn,
When I read the first line of your e-mail just now, I thought you were
asking for ideas on ways to permanently check out. Kevorkian-style that
is. I was glad to read further that it's for your dog.

what others may be good for us? I heard they are real good to help with
clearing
up pressure sores and help get proper nutriants.
I drink Garden of life protein shakes. Also, They have Detoxifiber that works
GREAT for elimination.

The stuff used by many nursing homes, rehabs, etc. Is a drink called Pro Stat.
It comes in a 30 oz. bottle and resembles cough syrup. The good part, it has
15g of protein in 2 tablespoons. It also has a slew of other supplements
designed especially for wound healing. There is usually some
I found one that is easier to use from ACE, it looks like a heart shaped. It
isn't a quick release but it can be hooked better than the traditional type.

My wound doc also suggested Juven, a drink designed for wound healing. It comes
in single serving packets and resembles Kool-Aid. Again, check eBay.

My Wound Doc got on me about my protein levels every time I went in. So I
bought some protein powder, peanut butter / chocolate flavor.
My favorites were mixing them with a Yoohoo drink and using the protein powder
instead of flour in peanut butter cookies.

I found one
Hi All,
I got an extra large card from my sweet Pete of 30 years. After I
opened it I asked him to tape it up on the wall because I'm in bed. As I'm
looking at it I got to thinking back to when I was first hurt and my very first
Birthday in a chair, which was 18. I thought back then
Happy Birthday Bobbie! I hope you have 100 more, but not in bed.
Best Wishes

I'm looking for a mounting system that we can adapt to hold the electronic
display for my wheelchair. I came across these guys, and they appear to
have everything! I know we're always looking for specialized wheelchair
mounts and pay the premium prices, but it wouldn't hurt to look at what

I haven’t checked the others yet, but when I first got mine we used the ones
they use for horses rope. Mine’s a German Shepherd and now I just use a
fexi-leash and connect the leash back onto itself making a slip ‘knot’.
