My question is for those that have used a Foley catheter for many years.
I am 46 years post SCI and have used a catheter since day one. The
catheter has caused
erosion on the bladder and the urologist warns me that there may come a
time when the bladder can no longer support a catheter.
Bladders can be repairs, altered and replaced with uro-pouches.
Uro-science has grown in the years. Have your URO contact the SCI Assoc
regarding a
medical referral for information from leading doctors in North America.

Hi Bobbie,
I've always treated myself like I have an AB body. I try to be proactive, so
I do all of the tests they recommend. I am not in the best shape, but I'm not
in the worst shape either. I'm 60 years old, 44 years post, and I don't want
to die from something curable. That's not to
When I was discharged from the hospital my father was told to take me home,
buy me a television and wait for me to die. That was the mind set in 1968.
Glenn,
That is exactly what they told my parents when I was discharged in Feb. '69.
Where did you rehab?
I also had an alcohol block. What
