Wound Care, has migrated and morp'd from hospitals and doctor's offices into a clinical and specialized industry. And doctor's are ok with that because it is so special and no one wants to mess with ulcers and opened wounds. And for those wound care clinic it has become quite profitable.

I asked about the Wound Vac for my butt sore. My doc said he has not had alot of success with the Vac on butt wounds. Greg you should be able to go out patient and get the wound vacuum and have a visiting nurse take care of it. I got mine while

Rare is it that Medical Doctors touch or maintain Wound Vacs. Doctors observe and de-breed the wound. They measure and look for healing. Wound Vac (the company) trained RN's on how the machine works, operates and how the unit is installed on the patient. The company teaches how to

I would go to the wound center and get a second opinion. I was being followed by a plastic surgeon, when I had a wound vacuum and a nursing agency. He had taken off and look at it every several weeks. He had to determine how long I used, until I was ready for plastic surgery a skin graft.
