I use a microphone stand
with an extension bar and have some plumbing straw
attached to it with plastic ties, both bought at home depot. My water
jug sits on the floor and the mic stand is bent right at my mouth to get the
straw anytime at night

I don't drink at night because I pee enough already but I did place a camel
pack on my bed once when I was sick with the hose where I could get it.
This worked real well for me.

straws and the top flexible 3/16 inch straw using the rubber tubing that is used
on leg bags only a little smaller if I can get at medical supply store if
