Any tips on ways to exercise by yourself? As a C5 I can't do a lot. I have a hand cycle, but need to get strapped on.   Mostly I stretch, and use an elastic band. Hook in on my armrest and around my hand. My legbags come with elastic straps. I save a lot of them. Loop them together to make it as lo

Hi Larry, My OT has me doing some exercises during the day for my shoulder...swing my arm pendulum style ( swinging slowly back and forth ) about 3 sets of 5 several times a day. also and this seems to help the most is while in bed raise your arm up past your ear without bending the elbow.

I bought one of those too, but have a hard time getting it set perfect. Getting my hand's strapped to the peddles is a hassle. But then once they are on, getting close enough to use it is hard. No table is just the right height, and the cycle moves around as I peddle. I tend to pull it close to

Any of you guys exercise much? I wonder if insurance will pay for one of those hand cycling things   I am trying to do a little, but I can't move my arms much. My main exercise is just lifting and or swinging my arms as long as I can before I run out of breath or can't lift my arms anymore...
