No, I just happened to come across that site while I was searching for

I'm not quite sure how well these work, but I thought he alternating
pressure cushioned looked relatively interesting. If it works in bed, why
wouldn't it work in a wheelchair? At least that was my theory, but it may
cause more problems than it remedies, for all I know.

To promote good circulation for me in the mornings -- I have my caregiver
slip one of those vibrating seat pads (the kind you can use in vehicles chairs
etc.) underneath my lower parts. Seems to work well.

Let the spanking begin... it does make a lot of sense and as of yesterday I
decided to try. I got a couple of funny looks from my mom and my caregiver
they agreed to try it.

Hey W --
After all these years, why am I not surpised to still see your ongoing advocacy
for Spanking Therapy? By now you should be well into some hardcore data
collection or even Butt Spanking data "anal-yziling."
Best!

My first thought was circulation as well. I tend to have a circulation problem
in the ischium area (including my whole lower extremities) but luckily the
color fades. My wife smacks my skinny ass every time she gets the chance; I
think that must be therapy for her though haha!

Actually, butt spanking therapy does make a lot of sense if you think about
it, I will have to try it... I can't wait to see the look on my family face
when they come to visit and hear that lol. When I saw the purple the first
thing that came to my mind is a circulation problem. Thank you ve
The purple area appears to be only on the left side right where the most
pressure is while sitting. I buy the material for my pants on eBay and I
found
somebody to make them for me so there are no pockets or zipper and as few
seams as possible. I also had my OT do the pressure mapping and

My whole life I wanted to be known for SOMETHING... I guess I should have
been more specific lol. In my wildest dream I NEVER thought it would have

Good morning Paul
Thank you so much for your response. I'm going to look into the select
comfort bed, do you turn from side to side or are you always on your butt? I
hope you never have to deal with but sores.

have you been pressure mapped for the right kind of cushion?
have you tried Miracle mist. There was an article @ in new mobility awhile

Welcome, Tammie! Sorry, but this is the first time I've heard of "purple
butt syndrome" in almost 40 years of being a quad. (See that? You have your
very own "syndrome" now. LOL) As for yeast: I have had trouble with it
around my urostomy and privates and found that taking 1 Grapefruit
