Those fold out ones look pretty good! I have LED brake lights, but normal filament tail lights. As brake lights I would say they are at least as good as filament bulbs in my case. One LED bulb has a tiny transmitter in which activates my wireless high level brake light. The high level light needs

Yes I agree, I live on a boat and have a few led 12v lights, the technology is getting better but I am waiting a bit before getting more of them because they are really a bit too dim compared with normal bulbs.
