I've tried a few variants of the "flat blade" wipers including quite
expensive Bosch ones that were supposed to be a custom fit on my 306 and
found them pretty hopeless. I concluded they don't seem to work well with
older windscreens with scratches/minor imperfections or quite curved swept
area
The distance from the hinge to the beginning of the blade clip is
16cm, the bend is just prior to the blade. I took a photo for you but

Have you bent the angle into the wiper arms so they lie parallel with
the bottom of the screen? The blades are 10 inch the same as a mini.
Make sure the blade fits fully down into the socket as it can be very
close, i broke a set after removing the winscreen once and putting it
back in a slightly d
Blades are donor Sierra cut to length (per the build manual, I
believe) and with new reduced load springs supplied by Quantum. The
standard springs are too high a rate and mine were checked at SVA - I
will check the lengths of the arms when I get home.
