[qubes-users] Importing virtualbox windows VM

2016-07-27 Thread fmuniz
Hi, I didn't find a howto for this. What I did: I installed qemu-img to a vm with "dnf install qemu-img" and converted the image to raw "qemu-img -S 4k -f vdi -O raw image.vdi image.raw" Then I created an HVM VM (that I named win7) and I replaced the root.img file at

Hi, I just installed 3.2 RC1 in EFI with an encrypted btrfs root. The installer worked fine, but it wouldn't boot afterwards, failing at the root switch point. I had to add "rootflags=subvol=root" in the kernel line in /boot/efi/EFI/qubes/xen.cfg to fix it. Regards, Francisco -- You

2016-07-27 Thread jmarkdavis86
So for what it's worth, I upgraded from 3.1 to 3.2 and was still able to boot from efi. Doing a clean install with 3.2 would not boot at all(without moving /boot or /boot/efi to a usb). So there must be something in the 3.2 installer that is different from 3.1 preventing this from working.
