Hey sorry I initially confused your problem with another I had.
Now I will bring the bad news: installing on a USB stick did not work for

I don't think it did - all they did was provide a Qubes instal media, I
think.

Since the Management Engine (ME) is an Intel feature, can one avoid

Perhaps some other sort of machine altogether?

Hi Anguilla1980,
now after some time I question my attempt to install Qubes, which relies on GPU
passtrough and lots of RAM, on a Surface Pro with just an IGP. This is what I
suppose: Since this is a not common use case for Xen it denies its service. See
the latest changelog from Xen.

AMD PSP is AMD's version of ME present in the new AMD stuff - one has to
buy an older 2013 or before AMD x86 CPU to avoid it generally.

Also forgot if to say if you need a laptop:
The Lenovo G505S with an AMD CPU:
Coreboot with open source init and a few blobs (graphics, fan and power

It is impossible to disable ME, no matter what some companies might say...

Thanks for the info. I was able to install 3.2 no problem I’m sure you are
correct. I'll wait then to give 4 another try until the final release. I was
only going to use my SP3 to check out 4 anyway, I have another machine which is
currently my full time 3.2 laptop.
Thanks!

Hi,
this is probably documented somewhere but I seem to not find the right

The missing step was rm ~/.local/share/applications/*

I have a customized disposable vm template. It is based on

When I now try qvm-open-in-dvm example.pdf I get a dialog with the
