Oh and by the way you can still view the VM logs after even a hard reset...
You can right click the vm in qubes manager and there is a logs menu on the
bottom.
Latest should be on the bottom and oldest on top, you just have to watch
the numbers on the side till its 0. which marks a new boot
Well for me whenever I suspend sys-usb seem to detach all devices. And when
I resume they get re-attached... I suppose that might take some time that
delays the screensaver but its just a hunch
The big hiccup comes when I have a sys-usb device attached to another VM,
for example the 4g modem

I have the same model and suspend / resume works for me (i have nothing
connected to the machine and sys-usb has no devices routed to another vm).
Under these circumstances the system wakes up normally but as u described I
have a slight delay aswell before the screensaver shows

Had ACPI exception errors during install, and the installer gui froze many
times but it installed just fine in the end.
