I have the Multi Media VM installed including Chrome, Spotify, Musique, VLC
player, etc. Qubes Updater keeps saying it needs updates but the updates
always fail. It always comes back with 1 changed 2 failed.
Error on updating t-multimedia: Command '['sudo', 'qubesctl',
'--skip-dom0',
Remarks: a TPM module will need to be installed before TPM function can be
enabled.

Like others have reported, I updated my Qubes system earlier today with
the 4.19.43 kernel along with the xen updates. Past updates have gone
smoothly for the duration of my running Qubes but unfortunately this one
wasn't.

I am trying to install Qubes 4.0.1 onto a HP laptop (model 151-da000).
It has a hybrid disk system, 250G SSD and 1 TB SATA. I had installed
KDE neon on the box, overwriting the native Windows installation, using
about 100G of the SSD drive. I am planning on making this a dual boot

Battery monitor does not see battery.
Closing lid causes system hang.
Sounds and network work fine.
DO NOT utilize sys-usb - causes keyboard and mouse to lock at boot.
Added display lines to .bash_profile in dom0 for scale:

I gave up and reinstalled Qubes 4.0 without Whonix/Anon then loaded the “Stable
version of Whonix 14” then recovered my Backed-up VMs that I wanted. Now it
works without error.

indicator as continuously spinning. It appears to show a VM always starting,
but qvm-ls in dom0 shows the VM as started. In a nutshell, the widget seems to

token that can be used for two-factor authentication for Gmail and Facebook,
among others. I'd like to use it on my Qubes RC4 system.

Been running Qubes 4.0-rc2 since it was released. DOM0 uptime is currently
sitting at 17 days. I'm chasing a few problems with the DVMs, but otherwise I
am very happy with the stability of the release candidate.

I also experienced problems with item 2. The progress meter would simply stop
and the system would appear to be locked up. I was installing RC2 to a USB
stick.
Amazingly, the system was actually making progress despite what the meter was
reporting. By coincidence, my attention was diverted
I had this problem as well. However, the problem vanished when I adjusted the
qrexec_timeout setting to 120 via qvm-prefs for the desired VMs.
This kind of makes sense, since I'm doing my RC2 testing from a usb stick
(color me cautious).

I run qubes off a SSD and have a blank 1TB drive installed. Qubes sees it as
1TB "storage" but when I try to back up my VMs to it Qubes manager stops after
4GB and reports "disk is full". A USB HD backup by Qubes work fine with 65GB.

I have one Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD and one 1TB disk drive. After I install
Qubes to the SSD and reboot, it does not recognize the SSD as a bootable
device. Using the same install procedures on the HDD, everything works
