Hey,
I ran accross an interesting issue. It seems as though Radiator never
checks for the timeout of the connection to the database before trying to
execute a delete query. So, what I did, is simply implemented the
ping() check in the reconnect routine. Following is the patch to
SqlDb.pm.

I was searching there yesterday and the messages have www.thelist.com.au in
the URL for the actual messages, instead of starport. So the searching works
fine, but trying to read (at least some of) the messages doesn't work too
well unless you cut and paste the URL and manually change the hostname.

I am new to perl, and have landed the job of installing and commisioning radiator
for use with telstra dial connect service
what I need, is if someone would be so kind as to give me some file names for the
CPAN archive for the MD5 and crypt modules that i need to install with perl.

Hello Charles -
Could you send me a copy of your configuration file (no secrets) so I can do
some tests here? I can see no reason in the code for this not to work.
thanks

Hi,
Running 2.16.1 (which fixed my session db problems, thanks Hugh), I'm now
testing that the snmp query is fired off properly when session checking is
in use.
In my config file I have this (near the top, outside of any realms,
handlers, etc.):

Hi
I've finally got Radiator to allocate an IP address to a Dial-in user,
and it all works fine until the user disconnects. Radiator never
'releases' the IP address, so whe a user dials in again the old IP still
has a state of 1 on the MySQL database. What do I need to do to get
Radiator to relea
Hello Karel,
Sounds like you are running Radiator on NT as a Service, using probably SRVANY
or similar?
I belive that when you shut down such a SRVANY service, it just kills the
Radiator process with extreme prejudice. I dont think there will be any way to
get control within Radiator during shut

Hello,
We've done some additional programming to radiator (created some objects at
the start of radiator) however we're not yet able to find the location of
the code where the shutdown procedure is handled and which we need to remove
the created objects. The obvious location in the main loop (if

Hi
We've been using Radiator for a while in conjunction with ACC/Ericsson
Tigris RAS devices for some time, allocating the IP address from the
Tigris. However, I have reciently been trying to get Radiator to
allocate the IP address itself, sending an access Accept packet
containing a 'Framed-IP-A
Hugh,
There is actually a typo in the manual: the -h printout example does not show
bind_address ;-)
