The battery is about 1.5 x 2 x 3 inches, going from memory. It's charging now so I don't want to take it out to measure. As far as the weight... I am really bad at judging that. It definitely weighs less than the Boom even with battery and is much easier to carry compared to the Boom. -- MeSue

I am not sure if the Boom is replaced by the Radio, but it easily could if there would be a modular system. They started a bit that way because the battery is sold separately. What would be the problem if such companion speaker would exist? I think of putting the radio at my desktop for basic ste
