You Know right after I posted that I realized that I should have
qualified my statement.
While it being released Sept 28 that does not necessarily mean it will
available in all stores and countries the day it is announced.
I apologize if my original post was misleading.
Well its 9:15am here in the UK and not showing available yet at
Amazon.co.uk or at all at Ripcaster
Perhaps a little more patience on my part.

If I throw together a pack for the Radio, will it work without the two

How often does your home network go down? For me it happens about as
often as a power failure (usually caused by a power failure), and then
no alarm clock that I have now works.

I'm fairly sure I read you have to use 7.4 for Radio. WIthout getting
in to reasons I'm not ready to upgrade (but I'm not) does the Radio work
at all on 7.3.3? I'm not overly concerned with Internet Radio or
anything like that. As long as I can stream my music from my server

Does the baseline server level of the controller go up as the firmware
moves closer to the radio/touch as well? Is 7.4 a one way trip?

I don't really understand the question. If you run 7.4 you will get 7.4
controller firmware. If you go back to 7.3.3, you'll have to downgrade
to 7.3.3 firmware.

I cannot decide whether to put the radio in the kitchen or in the
bath/shower area. I am leaning toward the latter because I like good
music while I am getting ready for work. But, I am wondering whether the
humidity of the bath area would have a bad effect on the radio. The area

No it won't work. We count on having the monitoring points, and the
temperature sensor. We had a home-made one get *very* hot in the lab,
and since this is a safety issue, we absolutely don't support or
encourage any homebrew batteries, and the devices are smart enough to
detect whether it's

Unfortunately, this means I'm probably not going to upgrade two of my

Define 'upgrade' for us. I suppose you have those SB3s attached some
audio equipment that makes music. The Radio is a nice piece of gear
that sounds pretty good given its size,
No, I don't have my two SB3s attached to anything fancy, just cheap
computer
speakers. They are functioning as alarm clocks / small room audio
systems. So hopefully a radio will be an upgrade for me in terms of
audio
quality and functionality as an alarm clock (dimming display, etc).
Except
I'd look into Booms...they have bridging.
