I do not have a Squeeze
I have a permanent, fixed IP on a solid 10mbt connection and a pretty
solid wireless network but I have also experienced this strange failed
alarm issue. My machines have wireless uptimes counted in weeks and
months not hours and minutes with constant IPs.

The answer is to let buyers of OTHER slimdivices products know that they
shipped this product which while great in concept is a TOTAL FAIL when
it comes to performing its most basic function. How can there NOT be a
backup alarm? Twitter, Facebook and other message board here come to
mind.

The sound is VERY weak using my ipod earbuds - even with sound level
turned to MAX. Is there a way to increase the sound level to headphones
output ?

I just purchased a Squeezebox Radio and thought I'd give the remote from
my original v1 SliMP3 player a shot - guess what? It works perfectly,
every button exactly as expected.
Thanks guys! I'm very happy that Slim Devices, ahem, Logitech,
continues to keep producing GREAT products!

I think an alarm clock radio that doesn't alarm with no internet
connection is a pretty fundamental issue. Also this doesn't appear to
be highly complex bug. What do QA test?

Something strange with the spec because IIRC AACplus spec says it should
not be used over speeds of 128 as at higher speeds AAC gives better
quality/bit.

I have a Squeezebox Boom which works perfect. It plays all my library
music. My new Squeezebox Radio does not however. I get an error saying:
"Problem: File cannot open" or something of that order.
It plays radio strems fine and it knows whats in the library, album art
