I expect the SB Radio remote looks exactly the same as it did when you
asked the same question two weeks ago. None of the SB remotes have a
mute button -- most users use "pause" instead. If the "Ky" in your

"Yes" but you must now your external ip and punch in that as remote

If you have fixed ip you are good to go.
Otherwise you have to keep track of your external ip, and change this
setting when your ip change.

In my case the radio isn't frozen - I can navigate through all the
menus. It's just that the network connection is lost (red) and won't
reconnect until I do a hard reset.

Agreed that this is a bug that needs fixing. My SBR will also drop the
wireless connection (antenna goes red) for reasons that I have yet to
work out. It then continues to think that there is no signal from my

It's not. At least I'm not able to reproduce it !
I currently also have a 'trivial' setup.

I am aware of.
I'm running the latest 7.4.x Nightly (R
OIC. I don't know how to do that on the Radio or SB3.
I just use DHCP and my Radio finds my SBS just fine when I navigate it
to My Music.

Not much you can do if the stream is unreliable ?
The latest 4.7.2 - nightly contains hell of a lot fixes regarding the
backup-alarm (http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.4).
You might try it - but it won't help you with the stream - it will just
help you getting up at the right time.
No of course not. My server has a static IP address assigned. Instead
of letting the Radio discover the server IP address automatically, I
want to program the IP address of the server into the Radio. I can do
this on the SB3 but I can't find a way of doing this on the radio.

I've had the same issue, but only on a couple of occasions. I'm assuming
it's a software glitch somewhere in the system. When it happens, the
radio is frozen and can only be restored with a hardware reset (unplug,
replug). I have the radio synched with my SB3, and while listening to

I have my SBR for just one week now and in most regards I'm very happy

I don't know if I'm glad or scared to read that so many of you have this
problem. I face the same problem here in France. I never use SB server,
only Mysb.com to wake up with my favorite radio.
But the connection to this radio is really unreliable with my SBR. The
