It was explained in another thread that the display dims slightly after
a certain time to preserve the life of the backlight. This only occurs
above a certain minimum brightness ( I believe 50% or so ) on the latest
firmware.

I would think that if you're using manual brightness and have it set
below 100%, you could just bump up the brightness level a little and
achieve the desired results.

You are correct. And it makes no sense to dim a device that is plugged
in.

This only affects the overall brightness level. It does not control

On the SB Radio menu select Settings > Brightness > Brightness Control >
Manual Brightness.
Then go to Settings > Brightness > Manual Brightness and set it to the
desired level.
Btw, SBR is usually shorthand for the SB Receiver, not the SB Radio.

After about 15-20 seconds, the display on the SBR dims slightly.
I would like to keep it at full light level, especially
when trying the read the album cover from across the room. Is there
any setting to change this?
Thanks.

OK - so now I don't know what is genuine advice and what is double

Try spinning the knob a little faster, individual *clicks* won't resize
the art.

You might want to see if the same thing happens with a hard wired
connection. Just to rule out a problem with your wireless network.

The Big Knob (tm) on the Radio should only be used for navigation.
The Big Knob on the boom should only be used for navigation.
Both have separate volume controls. Ok, the Radio is a more logical
Small Knob (tm), but the Boom's push button volume control is fine too.
I really don't care much f
The mentioned functionality is not working on my SBR? Do I need to
enable something? If I press the knob, the active playlist shows up.
Turning left/right doesn't affect anything.

Ah..that explains it.
It would be nice to have, as quite often the artwork looks rubbish as
it's too big for the screen.
When is 7.5 scheduled for general release?

Thanks, earlier you mentioned you bought a pre-made pack of 10 cells.
I'll be interested in how difficult it was to get the NTC into the
middle of the pack.
Unless I get my orders before you

I ordered the connector earlier this week, I'll post my results when I
get it, (and I'll say how it works/is assembled). Those instructions on
that other website are very poor, and abstract. I don't know why he
didn't post a diagram of the wiring (besides the wiring of the circuit).

I can't find it anywhere and when I turn the knob whilst a track is
playing - nothing happens to the artwork size

Am I the only one to experience this behavior? Looking that way so far.
I'll plan on calling the Logitech support line.
