It was explained in another thread that the display dims slightly after a certain time to preserve the life of the backlight. This only occurs above a certain minimum brightness ( I believe 50% or so ) on the latest firmware. -- induna ---

On the SB Radio menu select Settings > Brightness > Brightness Control > Manual Brightness. Then go to Settings > Brightness > Manual Brightness and set it to the desired level. Btw, SBR is usually shorthand for the SB Receiver, not the SB Radio. -- aubuti -

After about 15-20 seconds, the display on the SBR dims slightly. I would like to keep it at full light level, especially when trying the read the album cover from across the room. Is there any setting to change this? Thanks. -- snowmanvt

The Big Knob (tm) on the Radio should only be used for navigation. The Big Knob on the boom should only be used for navigation. Both have separate volume controls. Ok, the Radio is a more logical Small Knob (tm), but the Boom's push button volume control is fine too. I really don't care much f
