This issue seems to happen mainly with mysb.com but pretty confident it
also happened using my server.

The remote should have come with the radio. I will wait and buy the
battery from a 3rd party and use the $10 iPeng app for my remote.

I just checked the Logitech.com site (in US). The Radio Accessory page
changed - it now allows "Pre-order" (used to be "Add to Cart" - but it
also says "Available April 12, 2010".

Psst Erland get one for 499 sek :-) they are still available on the
Swedish logitech site, they must have had two off them in stock.
I already got mine.

^^ I have to agree with the above. I have a SB2, Boom and Radio, and the
newest, my radio, has the least options in MSB.com. I am hanging out for
the minimum auto brightness level which is offered on these settings for
my Boom for one.

Heh well a battery pack shipped from the EU (or UK) would cost as much
as the radio with the current exchange rate. Therefore, I am simply
going to whine. :)
Erland I do understand your sentiment however as the US seems to get
the new releases first in most cases. Nonetheless I ordered the batt

by selling in the UK and Europe logitech is making
a lot more money than selling in the USA for 49USD
(given the current exchange rates). They'd be crazy
to divert any if they are selling out in Europe.

Wifi connection to mysqueezebox.com
The alarm uses a music, it's always the same so it can't be a radio
stream but a builtin sound.
I have never had that with my Boom.
If you need more infos just ask me !

I have exactly the same issue...
Only one alarm configured @ 6.15am Weekdays and despite that, my alarm
clock randomly starts in the evening/night/day with the backup alarm
sound...
Any idea on how to solve that will be more than welcome.
Thanks

I have a strange behavior with my Radio :
Two evening in the week, it's get on with a alarm. I think it's an
included sound.
BUT I have set 2 alarms ONLY in the morning.
In the radio or on mysqueezebox.com I just see my 2 alamrs so I can't
delete this strage one.
What can I do to delete it ? A res
Thank Sihude, but I wonder why can I configure all the parameters for
my Boom which is also sophisticated and not all for my Radio.
In fact it is not logical for customers not to have teh same
possibilities whith products similar. If I can do it for my Boom I sould
be alble to do it with my Radio

Now I got it up and running.
I can confirm the volume control bug with the remote.
I can also confirm that the remote are identical to the one delivered

So the info we got that the Radio remote is different is apearently
pure BS.
More worrying is that th
If you edit the "etc/network/interfaces" file.
This can be done with ssh and vi .
This change survives firmware update but not factory reset.

In the picture you can see the radio on the left side.
It is possible to ssh into the SB Radio and tweak a few settings to set
a true static IP, but it may be wiped out be a firmware upgrade or

reserve an IP address for the SB Radio (so-called "static DHCP"). Be

Most times when I switch on my SBR I have lost my connection to MSB.com
so I was going to try using a static wireless IP in case its something
to do with my DHCP but I can't seem to find in the settings where I can
set that up. Can anyone help? TIA.

Its not that far away as its currently available in the UK store for
only ~84 USD. Its only about 4200 miles from me. Amazing that they
can't divert a few of these to the states to placate people.

In my opinion, you can't be a Buddhist until you have the battery.

At this point, I do not place much value in what anyone at Logitech
says.
After getting e-mail to say my pre-order would be shipping and voice
confirmation from a customer service rep that, yes, the battery pack was
shipping and my order was on its way to final preparation and shipping,

I know I am not being real patient but, are we getting closer to the
battery pack (in US) being "in stock"? I want to take a shower, sing in
my shower and hear my music.

I did try to use your denon plugin, only it does not select which
output. The other one denonavp does allow you to change the output (i
have to set quick select 3 for my squeezebox) i'll get back on you about
the debug stuff and see what happens. I am close, i know that for sure
