AFAIK, the only functionality difference in Beta radio's vs production/retail Radio's is the battery will not work on a beta unit. Been using my beta Radio daily since entering the beta program and I've yet to find a function it cannot perform. Beta units are hardware version 1, production/retail

So as a conclusion for robust alarms try to do the following in order: 1) use a 24/7 server, never switch to MySB.com, never sync the settings 2) use MySB.com standalone 3) on your own risk: regularly switch between MySB.com and your server I think the third is really complicated as you need to
