So far, my experience is that the workaround seems to fix a number of issues: No more turning on by itself - No more turning off by itself after 10 seconds - No more alarm turning off after 10 seconds There were a few more posts to bug 16295 today. They included a few consolidations of other bugs as duplicates of the 16295 bug. These included some of the alarm problems.
