This is brilliant, but would you also be able to work your magic and be
able to provide the link for C-Span2's radio feed? (That's the one
with Book TV.)
I am grateful for this in any case.

There was one 'if' in my last statement ;-)
Typically the Radio is able to connect to its server to
synchronize the next alarm time at least once a day.
Just wanted to note that after hearing the fallback it's good to be a
bit more suspicious than under normal circumstances if one wants to

with respect to bluegaspode's last comment, why is it that sometimes the
radio can go for 3-5 days with the fallback alarm always activating on
time, [and then spontaneously start working 'as instructed' with a
stream].

Thanks - I will re-contact Logitech Tier 1 support and discuss these
findings with them. will also try bluegaspode's suggestion of seeing
if a '1-off command each day' will work at all.
Chris.

But be aware, the Radio itself only remembers the next alarm to be able
to sound the fallback. If it sounded the fallback alarm and then for
some reason cannot communicate with the server / MySb.com the next day
it will keep silent when the server still fails to trigger the alarm
because it does

Yes, it could.

Did anybody ever find a way for this to play?
I have access on two other internet radios (through Reciva and through

Ok the actual design error on Radio is the lack of that nice
rubberized/snooze sleep button, or any dedicated sleep/snooze button .
But if you are running 7.6 version you can move it to the home menu .
When you are on the sleep icon a short press on "+" would bring up a
menu to move it .

If you use the Radio remote (same as Boom) it's the same as the Boom,
just press Sleep.
On the Radio itself absent a remote you must use Radio > Settings >

Hi Chris,
the logs shows a working alarm on Aug 25th.
Here is everything as it is supposed to be: at 6:43 the radio gets the
signal from MySB.com to play your desired stream
On Aug 26th this signal is completely missing.
So in your case this is a bug from MySB.com, one cannot blame the Radio
