My 5 and 6 are using the radio in their bedrooms. I was surprised to see
they learn so quickly to navigate in the menu even they can't read yet!
So don't worry.

In answer to your request for feedback Triode, yesterday the BBC Radio
app disappeared from the menu again on my radio. This was after
updating to 1.9 the day before.
A reboot of the radio was required to bring it back. I can live with
this to have such a great app available, but it does seem
by this time i mean the automatic shutoff time when running on
batteries.
