Maybe look at your wifi network, channel overloaded with other devices,
change channel, that sort of thing.
I have no idea if it is possible to replace the wifi card, but you could
use a wifi/ethernet bridge if it is deffo up the spout :(

I have a Squeezebox Boom and a Squeezebox Radio. The SQ Boom
works/connects fine.
However, I have started having a new problem with the SB radio recently
which I've owned since 2011.
Every 20 - 60 minutes (time frame varies) it randomly disconnects from
my wifi network. The signal bar turns
Do you know what channel the Faraday Radio is on, and what channel the
native Radio is on? I have had problems with my Radio and Boom dropping
WiFi when connected to Channel 6; C1 and C11 cause no problem. force
your AP/Router to use either 1 or 11 and try again.
The .z77 extension is the athwlan firmware in compressed format that
bmiloader can uncompress at load time.

Well, the answer is that it won't handle a modified -jive_alsa-. So a
little installation applet and/or a "do it by hand" instruction is
required.
