I turn it on. I haven't figured out how to get the Radio to do the same
thing. Is the Radio not capable of waking up the server?

If I've just listened to my local server and now have switched to
Rhapsody, does the Radio know the server is no longer needed and let it
shut down? Or, how do I manually switch Radio source from server to
network? I'd prefer my server to go back to standby if its not needed.

Since upgrade to 8837 whenever I switch my Radio from SBS to MySB or
vice-versa it asks to update the firmware again. Is there a way to

I have two Radios both updated to 7.6.0 firmware. This morning the one
attached to my local server was still off as I left it; the one
attached to mysqueezebox.com had turned itself back on overnight.

You probably won't need to change anything to have your Radio work. My
N router came out of the box set for compatibility with both N and G
devices like Squeezebox. If not, it's an easy setting to adjust in the
router management console.

1. Install Logitech Media Server (LMS) on your PC
2. Point LMS at your existing music library folder and let it scan the
contents
3. Turn on any of your Squeezebox players and select "My Music" (or

I have two Radios in my living room that are sync'd (volume also) as a
L/R pair. They are wired to my router. Often I notice that the

There's no benefit to it and you'll end up with a Radio that can't run
on the same server as your other Squeezebox devices.
If you have the itch to upgrade, then install the LMS 7.9 beta server.

^ Yeah, my server (7.9 Win) -never- acts flaky. Don't jump to blame
your Squeezeboxes or LMS if you're having problems. Most issues I see
in this forum are network-related or a result of running the server on
too small a CPU.

Don't know about "thread titles", but lots of "internet radio" options
on Amazon. (Most are not compatible with LMS, however.) If you have an
unused Android/iOS device there is a TuneIn app (and Squeeze Player for
LMS access). Or build a RaspberryPi and use piCorePlayer OS. eBay

I'm not sure I understand what this thread is about, but you don't need
a computer to listen to internet radio via Squeezebox. Just create an
account at mysqueezebox.com and set your Squeezebox to use this server.
You can be wired or wireless; doesn't matter.

I swapped the problem Radio above into another location in my home where
it would be wired and it is now online. That "good" radio I then

Or do a Factory Reset: Hold power button down until Radio says
"Goodbye", then press and hold Power and (+) button simultaneously until

IIRC, there are features of the Verizon G3100 WIFI 6 gateway/modem that,
