- What software version are you using?
- How is your SB Radio connected (mysquezzebox.com.com or local
SBS-server)?
Logs may (usually) be found in the /var/log/ directory using the
Radio's built-in SSH access.

definitively does NOT timeout the backup alarm after 60min! :mad:

Unless you significantly change the logging settings in the Radio, the

Well, I do think they are willing to work on it (they might even be

The SB3 works the same way the Boom does (as should all ip3k-based
devices). :)

Radio Firmware 7.6 r9125 did not seem to fix the issue (but then I only
ever saw it using mysb.com). Also the automatic brightness control
seems to be broken in r9125 btw.

I agree with bluegaspode. When I was looking for a internet radio to
replace my failing Radioclock, I tried lots of different brands but the
only one to deliver the goods (for me) was the SB Radio. All other are

Yup, both Radio and Boom are rightfully renowned for their excellent
audio quality (as are all SBs btw). Also the Squeezebox ecosystem is
quite open, so there are lots of excellent 3rd party apps and plug-ins.
Its only significant caveat is mysb.com - for some people at least.

I would suggest resetting the Radio via the "+" button (by pressing it
before turning the radio on and continuing to do so until startup is
completed). Afterwards it should ask you if you would like to use a
different mysb.com account during setup. :)

In order to not being able to accidentally turn off the 7.6 alarm too
easily (whilst trying to snooze) you have to turn the big knob quite
far in order to turn the alarm off (iirc it also only works in one
direction, but I rather like it nonetheless).

Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no 7.8 Firmware for the Radio
(afaik the latest one is 7.7.2 r9663).
