Running the latest 7.5 beta here, and cannot confirm this. The radio correctly remembers the alarm volume. Never failed on this, so far. Just did a test with normal playing volume almost silent. Still, the alarm fired with the chosen volume. Michael -- Loom

Strange. Although my beta is a few days old now - I tested it numerous times last night and each time the volume of the alarm was as specified for the normal volume not the alarm volume. Any ideas why this is possibly just me? -- miniwaites

I noticed this alarm volume problem this morning too. SB3 in bedroom, alarm volume is set to 100. Alarm went off this morning, but the volume was low, because I had been playing music at the low volume late the previous day. i.e. the volume did not change back to 100 when the alarm went off

Hello All, I'm running 7.5 and I think that the Alarm Volume setting is not working any more. So when the alarm goes off it will ignore whatever you have set for the alarm volume and use the current volume setting. I had muted mine last night and so although the alarm fired no problem this

OK - I just checked this over a number of times. The Alarm volume setting definitely seems to be broken. The alarm will sound at whatever volume the radio is set to for 'normal' play. I'll file a bug. -- miniwaites

When my radio is connected to squeezebox server, the alarm volume never goes above what the most recently used radio volume is. I'm testing this using the Bongo Tech sound as my alarm. Alarms are set to fade in. I have the alarm volume set at 81. If I don't play the radio after setting the alarm,
