edited the "rc.firewall.local" file with those rules.
ClarcConnect does not open ports to broadcast when you opens ports in
their UI only for comunication that have the server itself as
destination as Peter suggested.

This is also why i had to use net-udap for my reciever i guess
tried the rules you kindly suggested they work.
iptables -I INPUT -p udp --dport 3483 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 3483 -j ACCEPT
will they survive a reboot of the server ? I think not ?

It would be more helpful to see iptables -L -v -n, but my guess is the

I finaly got me a Radio Today a dusty shelf item found at
"Teknikmagasinet" where I live :)
I have a long standing problem with all Squeezeplay based devices way
of finding the server since i got my controller, this persist with
desktop Squeezeplay on any OS .
So finally i got it on Radio too.
