Update is released, go to settings-advanced-update, on radio and it
should offer update now, mine did.

I do not want to upgrade my server software to 7.4.2 because to get the
albums to sort by year, I have to run the perl files and then run a
patch (that is actually for a much older version) to get it to do this
and it is a big pain. When is 7.4.2 going to be officially released so I
can get the up
I had the same problem on one of my two SB Radios. The radio that "hung"
at 99%, I plugged an ethernet cord into, changed the network option to
wired, and it upgraded flawlessly. After the upgrade was complete, I
changed the network setting back to wireless, and everything is ops
normal.

Sometimes the pref pane doesn't really quit, bug keeps hanging in the
background. Reboot your computer and try again.

I'm getting 'An updated squeezebox server version is available', notices
on my Mac but when I click update I always get a 'Waiting for System
Preferences to quit' message for five secs followed by the password
screen. Entering this gives 'Install Results - Please quit Sys Pref
before running insta

I've got exactly the same issue . Is it just a temporary download server
