"I disassembled the radio to see if there were any obvious signs of burned-out components on the circuit board - all looked OK. It would be helpful if anyone knows what the main internal failure causes are for these radios." The MOSFET labeled Q3 seems to be a problem for many of us. http://foru

One of my Radios has a very flaky power connector. I would check that first - it seems to be the weakest link on the Radio. If you have a Radio with a battery, you might try a fully charged battery pack in the Radio that is acting up to see if it will operate on battery. Sent from my SM-G930V usi

Likewise, one of my Radios won't now power-up. I tried a power supply from one of my other radios and that didn't get the radio powered-up, and the existing power supply worked on one of my other radios, so it's not the power supply. I disassembled the radio to see if there were any obvious signs

My radio (original, not UE) just died. It was on standby showing the time yesterday and now it's just totally powered down. I've checked the wall-wart PSU and it is still putting out 18 volts on the concentric connector that goes into the back of the radio. What's the most likely cause of this t
