I did that, and then a little wisp of smoke emerged from the radio with
a smell of burning so I think it's now beyond doubt tha
One of my Radios has a very flaky power connector. I would check that
first - it seems to be the weakest link on the Radio. If you have a
Radio with a battery, you might try a fully charged battery pack in the
Radio that is acting up to see if it will operate on battery.

Likewise, one of my Radios won't now power-up. I tried a power supply
from one of my other radios and that didn't get the radio powered-up,
and the existing power supply worked on one of my other radios, so it's
not the power supply. I disassembled the radio to see if there were any
