Yes, it does. You should be able to plug in the headphone output of the
radio into the analog input, all you need is a standard 3.5mm jack
cable.

A poor option would be to use a Bluetooth audio transmitter adapter on
headphone socket and send audio to soundbar using Bluetooth.
Otherwise - buy a Touch with optical output or build a small pla

I m the happy owner of a Squeezebox Radio . I d like to buy a Sony
HTCT370 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer.
I d like to connect the Squeezebox Radio to the toolbar using a cable.
As you know The Radio has an headphone jack and Sony Soundbar has a
hdmi IN !
Is there a cable i can use with whic

I recently got a Squeezebox Radio and have tried connecting it via the
headphone jack to my surround sound receiver. The headphone jack
analog signal is considerably lower in volume (even at max volume) when
A/B comparing to a digital signal from my WDTV (playing the same music

I have a squeezebox radio that I use to run my "whole house" sound
system. I use the headphone jack output, and then an adapter to convert
stereo to mono (because I only have a single speaker in each room) and
then that signal gets split. One side of the split is plugged into a
small digital amp t

I stand corrected on the question of audio quality. Caleb certainly
knows more about it than I do! I have seen a lot of postings (which
corresponded to my own experience) about using the SB2 or SB3 RCA
outputs instead of the headphone jack for driving self-powered speakers,

Good to know. I would be using the Squeezebox Radio and external T-amp
in the Master Bath (primarily listening to music while in the shower)
through a single ceiling mounted dual voice coil speaker. And it appears
that for this purpose and in this less than ideal or critical listening
environment
I use the headphone jack to connect to a spare Bose radio for occasional
outdoor use. Works fine, though sound level is a bit low. Plus the
headphone jack doesn't allow for use with Slacker or Rhapsody (under
7.3). For regular use I would also recommend another SB product.

You could, especially because the headphone jack is stereo (unlike the
Radio's built-in speaker, which is mono). For best audio quality it's
generally better to use a line level output into an external amp instead
of a headphone jack, so that's a compromise you'd have to make.
Personally I could s
Was wondering if the new Squeezebox Radio can be connected to an
external amp such as the Sonic Impact T-amp via the headphone out mini
jack?
